Cheap Caribbean Cares Foundation
The CheapCaribbean Cares Foundation is based in Doylestown, PA and was established in 2006 by the founders of COMM Group and CheapCaribbean.com, Jim and Marta Hobbs. The purpose of the foundation is to help those less fortunate and in need, both in the Caribbean and Mexico and in the Bucks County and Philladelphia areas of Pennsylvania. Specifically, the issues of poverty, homelessness, and children's health and education will be the focus of the Foundation's resources.
"We owe it to the destinations we serve to give back to the people in the region," stated "Caribbean Jim" Hobbs. "I love the fact many of our customers feel the same way, wanting to offer their time and effort while on vacation. CheapCaribbean Cares is all about giving back and helping the specific communities which we live and work in." Foundation President Marta Hobbs adds, "Having seen some of the living conditions and the lack of opportunities children are given in certain areas, we wanted to help give them a chance. Our mission is to better the lives of those we touch, and we hope by our efforts we are able to provide hope to the local communities as well as those in the Caribbean and Mexico."
